Redditch Revolutions are a Majorette Troupe based in Redditch, Worcestershire, England and perform formation marching and dance displays to music using batons, flags, mace, pom poms and other similar items.
We cater for girls and boys, aged 5 years old and upwards, and full instruction is provided therefore no previous experience is required to become a majorette.
We currently train on the following days:
Tuesday 6:00-7:30: Tiny Tots & Juveniles
Tuesday 7:30-9:00: Juniors & Seniors
At present majorettes pay £3.00 in subs.
This sum goes towards the cost of insurance, hire of training facilities, additional/replacement uniforms, and any other troupe operating costs.
We keep the cost low to encourage as many majorettes to attend as possible.
We train in twirling, dance and military using a variety of equipment.
Majorettes are taught to use 1 & 2 baton, pom pom, mace, 1 &2 flag, ribbon and hoop.
New starters are always welcome within our troupe, so if you are interesting in joining us why not e-mail the troupe leader or come along to one of our training sessions.
